Global Money Week (GMW) is an annual financial awareness campaign built to inspire children and young people to learn about money matters, livelihoods and entrepreneurship. Initiated by CYFI in 2012, it is now organised by the OECD International Network on Financial Education (OECD/INFE).
SAGO Finance joined the Global Money Week, becoming a leading organisation in 2019. This year together with our partners, we are preparing interactive on-line courses for the students of the 10th and 11th grades.
Under the slogan "Take care of yourself, take care of you money" we will bring important concepts from world of finance to help young people
- Build financial resilience and gain - Investor/Entrepreneurial mindset

Together with our volunteers partners, we have prepared online financial education content for high school students from 6 high schools in Romania. For one week, students will watch interactive video content and will be able to connect online in live discussions with financial experts or consultants to discuss topics of interest related to money. All materials will be published on this page and anyone can access the live sessions held daily from 19:00 to 20:00 on the Facebook and Instagram pages.
The video courses will be distributed each morning to the students of the partner high schools by the teachers involved in the program, and the next day will be available to the general public on this page. The themes addressed are:

More about My Student Budget project

It is a practical exercise in which the students will build their budget for the first year of college spent in a city other than their native one. Students will apply the concepts learned during the week and learn what elements they need to consider in budgeting, investigate living costs in selected cities, and connect with students from those cities to validate their data.
The children's parents will also be involved in this exercise, who will help them in the process.
